How indian clothing was made

Woman would wear a long piece of clothing called a sari. They would mostly be made from cotton but some wealthy woman would buy them made from silk. 
Men wore one long piece of clothing called the dhoti. The dhoti was made out of white fabric. The dhoti was made for wrapping around the legs. They are actually coming back into style again for girls!

Men would then were a turban that was made out of cotton to go with the dhoti.
